Magazine Analysis

This magazine is 'Ebony', This magazine is mainly aimed at woman from 18-30 year old. From the colour scheme of the magazine it is clear that the magazine's aimed at mainly mature people, also with the pose of beyonce. She has a very strong pose in this cover, and an anger shot. In this shot she is showing woman power, within the magazine cover there is also sell lines such as 'whos watching your kids' and '9 tips for managing your money'. All these sells lines associate with woman  and independent woman. I think this magazine is to do with woman being strong and independent. These sells lines woudlnt be included to a younger generation up to the age of 18.  The attitude of this magazine is to show of this strong and independent woman. This magazine is very feminist.

Media Introduction

I have chosen to do a music magazine for my AS media coursework, I've looked at magazines such as 'Q', 'NME' and fashion magazines as well. I looked at the music magazines as I like the sort of music situated with the magazine but also enjoy looking at fashion magazines. The colours used on both fashion and music draft my eye to the cover, I like the simplicity of the covers but the colours make certain things stand out against the images and texts. I want my magazine to be simple but I am going to use certain colours to make my magazine stand out.
